Terms of Service
Last updated: July 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase of tickets, your donations and sponsorships, and your visit to Terror at the Timberline, a haunted attraction presented by Memphis Nightmare, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") at the Memphis Lions Club pavilion in Memphis, Michigan. By purchasing a ticket, entering the attraction, or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not purchase a ticket or enter.
Tickets & Admission
- General admission is $5.00 per person. Children ages 2 and under are admitted free.
- All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges — including if you choose to leave the attraction, are refused entry or removed for violating these Terms, or if weather or other conditions delay, shorten, or cancel a night. Tickets have no cash value and are non-transferable for resale.
- We reserve the right to refuse admission to, or remove, any person for any lawful reason, including unsafe or disruptive behavior, intoxication, or failure to follow staff instructions, without refund.
- Hours and dates are subject to change. Follow our channels for the latest information.
Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
Terror at the Timberline is an immersive, high-intensity haunted attraction designed to frighten and entertain. Our actors and monsters will actively attempt to scare you. The attraction takes place outdoors and after dark and includes strobe lights, black lights, fog and haze, loud noises, sudden and startling effects, jump scares, special effects, and dark, uneven, and outdoor walking surfaces.
By entering, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending the attraction, including the risk of bodily injury, illness, emotional distress, or property damage. You confirm that you are in good physical and mental health and have no condition that would make attendance unsafe. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, epilepsy or a seizure disorder, respiratory conditions, claustrophobia, a physical limitation, or any sensitivity to the effects listed above, do not enter. Use your best judgment.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and agree not to sue Memphis Nightmare, LLC and its organizers, members, volunteers, staff, and the property owner for any claim, injury, loss, or damage arising out of or related to your attendance, except for injury caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct where such a release is not permitted by law. You attend at your own risk.
Conduct: our actors will not intentionally touch you, and you may not touch the actors, sets, or props. Do not run, push, use phone flashlights, record where asked not to, bring weapons, or enter under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Violation may result in removal without refund.
Minors
The attraction may be too intense for young children. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for deciding whether the attraction is appropriate for their child and for supervising them at all times. A parent or guardian purchasing tickets or entering with a minor accepts these Terms, including the Assumption of Risk, on the minor's behalf.
Donations & Sponsorships
- Donations and sponsorship payments are voluntary and non-refundable.
- Memphis Nightmare, LLC is a limited liability company, not a 501(c)(3) charity. Donations are not tax-deductible charitable contributions. We intend to donate net proceeds toward the 2027 Memphis Days fireworks, but donations are made to Memphis Nightmare, LLC.
- Sponsor benefits (website listing and, for banner tiers, placement on the maze banner) are provided on a best-effort basis. Sponsor-supplied names and links must not be unlawful, offensive, or infringing, and we may decline or remove any listing at our discretion.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. By paying, you also agree to Stripe's terms. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Photography & Media
The event may be photographed or recorded. By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded and to our use of that media for promotional purposes without compensation. If you do not wish to be recorded, please let a staff member know.
Other Terms
- Website content, names, and logos are the property of Memphis Nightmare, LLC and may not be used without permission.
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a ticket, donation, or sponsorship is limited to the amount you paid.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.
- We may update these Terms at any time; the version posted here at the time of your purchase or visit applies.
- Terror at the Timberline is produced independently by Memphis Nightmare, LLC. We are not affiliated with the Memphis Chamber, the City of Memphis, or the Memphis Lions Club.
